The cherry trees are bearing fruit, albeit green at the moment. Yet the sun is shining, the temperatures are rising and before those green fruits will turn red, succulent and ready for picking…… and eating. And its the wonderful partnership between sun, and leaf that is the source. This macro-photograph of the cherry leaf, back-lit by the sun, shows the leaf veins.
