The May Pole

Ribbons fluttering, falling,

Entwine in perfect harmony

And rhythm.

Colour upon colour

Woven into intricate patchwork,

Only to be undone and left

To flutter and fall.

    • I appreciate that. Writing ‘poetry’ is very new for me. I don’t know how often I will be able to write something. But I’ll keep giving it a try.
