Necklace – an exercise in depth of field

I thought I would look back to this time last year and see what photos I had taken, when I was starting out on my year-long project.  I notice that I have changed how I look at things over the year and I hope that continues.  This photo of one of my necklaces was discarded last year.  It was an experiment in focus and depth of field.  There is something about it now that is different.  Back then I was looking for perfection; now I am seeing more and although not a perfect photo, there is an attraction in it.

  1. I like it and I’m sure you know why! lol

  2. It’s beautiful. Love the blur. I think I have evolved the same way. I look at things a bit differently. 🙂
