It was an early start today. Up before dawn and off to Vancouver airport for the start of a long day of flying home to the UK for a short time. Vancouver airport was just waking up. It was quiet, not much air traffic and planes left at the gates overnight were being moved off ready for whatever they do with empty planes!
I took this shot of the early morning sky, reflected in the wet tarmac surface, with the Bombardier Dash 8-100 being pulled off the airport gate. I love the ambient light of this photo, with the pale rose tint of the sky and reflection.
