8th Oct 2012 – Eagle and Salmon
I hope you are not disappointed with me. I would love to be able to show you a photograph of an eagle with a salmon in its talons, but I can’t. One day perhaps!
In the meantime, ‘engraved’ in the glass of a door (I suspect that it is a clever film over the glass!) was this eagle. There is no salmon in its talons, but take a look at its wing. There, cleverly disguised, is aboriginal art. Looks very fish-like to me!
This glass work was from a home in Whistler, which is found in the traditional lands of the Squamish First Nations.
