17th July 2012 – Parasurfing

Today has been a very windy day here in Penticton.  Coming from the south, the wind had ‘white horses’ breaking on to the beach at Skaha Lake.

Although not great for many tourists, there was a group of intrepid extreme sports fanatics who loved the conditions.  Parasurfing, sometimes called kite surfing, was the deal of the day for these guys.  I managed to get plenty of photos, some of which I’ve put together in this small slide show below.  Enjoy.
