6th July 2012 – Dragonfly

It’s amazing what comes into the garden and you have to be ready at a moment’s notice.  When this beautiful dragonfly arrived, I did not have my camera to hand and so had to get my husband’s attention.  He saved the day by bringing my camera to me and, in doing so, changed the lenses so I had my zoom ready to get these shots.

What a wonderful husband I have, who understands my desire for photography and is so encouraging in it.

The dragonfly turned out good too……  Anyone know what it’s called?

  1. oh ya those rock!

    • It seemed to like the cane in the garden. It kept circling around and coming back to it every minute or so, which helped me get photos of it from different angles. I think it was hoping to attract a mate or something.
