14th June 2012 – Patterns in Nature 4

Another pattern in nature for you.  This snail was making his way over the conifer.  Light was fading because a storm was on its way.  Not that the snail worried because it didn’t have to run for shelter!!!

It was the pattern on the shell that was attractive; the spirals, the colours and the ‘imperfections’ within the shell itself.  Altogether, a wonderful example of another of nature’s patterns.
