3rd June 2012 – Dried Roses

There is beauty in all things.  Roses have a beauty that is resplendent in colour and life, but they hold a delicate beauty as they slowly dry up and fade.

I saw these dusky pink roses that were well passed their best but they exuded an attraction in their decay that drew me to them.  I don’t know if they are better as a colour or monochrome subject, so I will let you decide.  Both were taken at an ISO 1600 in natural but fading light.
