2nd June 2012 – Macro Bearded Iris

I photographed a bearded iris today using my extension rings in an attempt to get more detail in the picture.  I had varying degrees of success.  As I was using the 36mm ring on the standard kit lens, I had to use the tripod to ensure a stable camera.

Below is the best of the bunch.   This is a macrophotograph of the beard of a purple iris.
