The last two days have been bitter-sweet. My husband, Steve, and I helped a young couple pack up their home and send them on their way to a new life in Alberta. It has been a hard few years for them and they had just started getting their feet back on a safe path. Unable to find work in this region, they investigated further afield. The husband found work mining and flying helicopters and now they are off.
We spent hours packing up their belonging with them, filling a van and a car, and cleaning the apartment ready for the next tenants. It was wonderful to receive this “Thank you” card in recognition of our work.
So to my friends, thank you. You know who you are as you read this blog regularly.
Who have you said “Thank you” to recently?
