26th March 2012 – Gypsophila

I bought some flowers today; bright red carnations and soft, white Gypsophila.  I used the extension ring (20mm) and got a detailed shot of the Gyp.  I did not realise that they had a green centre to them.  I love the multiple layers of petals, each one silky and soft.Manual Exposure, Shutter Speed 1/50, Aperture 5.6, ISO 400, taken with a 20mm extension ring attached to my 18-55mm lens.

  1. lovely..they almost look plastic

  2. So delicate, and the little flowers almost look like paper. I remember them in England always being mixed into bouquets.

  3. Lovely! Delicate and soft with great details. 🙂
