7th Jan 2012 – Train Tracks

This train track runs across a trestle straddling a gorge on the Kettle Valley Railway at Summerland, British Columbia.  There is only a small piece of the original rail track now being used.  Most of the track has been removed, or is left to nature.  There is a steam train which is run as a tourist attraction during the summer months.  It stops on the trestle so that you can look down into the creek below.

One day, I’ll get a picture of the train.

  1. Oh wow this are some stunning pictures! I really love the first one the black and white makes the picture look like a mystery!

    • I was absolutely thrilled with the outcome of the b/w train tracks photo. I’m still coming to terms with all that my camera can do, and was enjoying taking some monochrome photos. These tracks were just crying out for black and white.
      Thank you for visiting Patrick.
