I’ve wanted to do some macro work for a while but only having a kit lens meant that photos, although great, were limited in detail. However, I bought some extension rings (cheaper than a macro lens) to see how I get on with the whole macro photography thing. If I like it, I’ll save up for a specialist lens, but I’m in no hurry.
Flowers always provide a good, colourful subject and I have some alstroemeria which are one of my favourite cut flowers. See what you think of my first steps today.
